Magsaysay Shipmanagement, Inc. (MSI) successfully held Crew Day 2026 through a series of gatherings at Mt. Tarak Guest House & Restaurant in Mariveles, Bataan, bringing together officers and crew members from various vessels under the Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) group for fellowship, recognition, and meaningful engagement.
The first gathering was held on May 22–23, 2026 for MT Rana II managed by Islas Tankers Seatransport Corporation (ITSC), and MV Bagungon managed by Marine Fuels Philippines, Inc. (MFPI). A second gathering followed on May 29–30, 2026 for the officers and crew of MV Rasalas managed by NMC Container Lines.
In their messages, MSL leaders highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture and reminded the crew that every task onboard must be carried out with safety as the top priority. Reinforcing MSL’s commitment to the well-being of its seafarers, the management encouraged everyone to live by the guiding principle: “Make it safe, make it home.”
Over meals, team activities, and open conversations, officers and crew members had the opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and strengthen the relationships that support safe and efficient operations at sea.
