One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OLSI) and the University of Asia and the Pacific Foundation, Inc. (UA&P) have formalized a partnership to strengthen industry-academe collaboration in supply chain and logistics. The initiative aims to create opportunities for innovative research, firsthand learning, and the development of future-ready logistics professionals.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing was held on June 30, 2026, at the UA&P campus in Pasig City. The event was attended by representatives from both organizations, led by OLSI General Manager Miguel Gutierrez and Systems Lead Ruth Macalalad, and UA&P Vice President for Academic and Faculty Affairs Dr. Fe Gladys Golo and Dean of the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology Dr. Noemi Torre. Other members of the OLSI team and the Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) Human Resources team were also present to support the partnership.
The agreement marks the beginning of a one-year collaborative study designed to explore initiatives in research, knowledge sharing, student immersion, and industry engagement. Through the partnership, UA&P students and faculty members will gain opportunities to better understand the realities of the logistics sector, while OLSI will benefit from fresh perspectives and research-driven insights from the academic community.
At the end of the study, UA&P will provide recommendations and a proposed roadmap for future collaborative initiatives. As the partnership progresses, OLSI and UA&P look forward to identifying opportunities that foster innovation and create meaningful value for students, industry practitioners, and the broader logistics community.
