Jay R. Olivarez is the Chief Operating Officer of Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics’ (MSL) Warehousing and Logistics Cluster. Prior to his current role, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Corporate Strategy.  

Jay has over 25 years’ of experience in domestic shipping and logistics. He held various positions in the MSL Group from chartering, corporate planning, business development, and logistics management to container shipping.  

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering at De La Salle University. He attended International Shipping Trade Practices in Hongkong, and the Leadership and Management Development Program at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Jay is a member of the Philippine Liner Shipping Association.
