Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) continues to strengthen its role in advancing the Philippines’ cold chain sector as two of its leaders—Icebox Logistics Services, Inc. (ILSI/Icebox) General Manager Gilbert Singson and One Stop Warehousing, Inc. (OWSI) General Manager Agnes Degala—were elected to the Board of Directors of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines (CCAP).
The announcement was made during CCAP’s First Quarter Round Table Discussion held on March 26, 2026, at the Makati Sports Club. The event brought together key stakeholders from government and industry under the theme, “From Gap to Growth: Synergizing Skills, Systems, and Strategy in Philippine Cold Chain.”
The appointment of MSL executives reflects the confidence of industry peers in their leadership and expertise, while highlighting MSL’s growing contribution as a trusted partner in the development of a more resilient and efficient cold chain network in the Philippines. Through Icebox and OWSI, MSL delivers integrated cold storage, warehousing, and transportation solutions that help ensure the safe and efficient movement of temperature-sensitive products nationwide. These capabilities play a vital role in supporting food security, public health, and supply chain reliability.
The event also featured presentations from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), which shared updates on warehouse mapping, regulatory compliance, and initiatives designed to accelerate the industry’s growth.
