MSL President and CEO Represents Magsaysay at Exclusive MOL Media Gathering

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) hosted an exclusive media gathering at the New World Makati Hotel on February 6, aiming to strengthen its presence in the Philippines through its partnership with Magsaysay and to inspire young Filipinos to join the MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA).

MOL Chief Country Representative for the Philippines Yasunori Takamatsu and Corporate Communications General Manager Yosuke Ishibe, warmly welcomed local media partners and provided an insightful overview of MOL’s Blue Action 2035 initiative.

During the event, Magsaysay Shipping & Logistics (MSL) President and CEO, Jesse H. Maxwell, highlighted the partnership between MOL and MAGSAYSAY. “Magsaysay has been privileged to have a long and valued partnership with MOL since the early 1960s,” Jesse shared. “Our shared purpose and deep commitment to the country have forged a valuable and long-lasting relationship between our companies,” he added. This partnership has led to the establishment of the Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS), MM Empower, and MMMA.

Magsaysay World Communications (MWC) and MOL Corporate Communications are collaborating for the upcoming MMMA 2nd Commencement Exercise on February 18.
